Guinea-Bissau Project

Atum-1X: A Deepwater Milestone in the MSGBC Basin

In September 2024, APUS Energy successfully drilled the Atum-1X exploration well offshore Guinea-Bissau, marking the country’s first ever deepwater well and its first offshore exploration activity in nearly two decades. Targeting the Atum prospect within the MSGBC Basin, the campaign represents a major step forward in Guinea-Bissau’s offshore energy development.
